Having, in the course of my house search, seen what a completely unchanged 1920s kitchen looks like, I can say with certainty that I do not want that. A kitchen with 1920s elements that sympathizes with the aesthetic direction of the rest of the house, yes.

I've made the mistake of late of looking for design ideas in higher in homes in the same sorts of neighborhoods I'd like to live in. Though these homes were all built about the same time as mine, their kitchens and baths all look the same, without regard for the style of architecture.

Again, if it looks good, go for it. I'm tending toward 1930s plumbing fixtures, because around here, they're much more readily available, and more reasonably priced, too.Christopher Busta-Peckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15428701548572867797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2103061776704295860.post-37048158283575512802008-10-14T09:35:00.000-06:002008-10-14T09:35:00.000-06:00oooooh...aaahhhhh.those are fantastic finds. Cute lights, too. I think there's a ReStore in Kansas City, about 50 miles from where I live, but I'm not sure where. Next rainy day, I feel a field trip coming on.Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03564514698418229865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2103061776704295860.post-86671336842030589112008-10-11T15:26:00.000-06:002008-10-11T15:26:00.000-06:00love the cabinet doors!love the cabinet doors!Just A Girl And Her Craftsman Bungalowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12750435992760999949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2103061776704295860.post-71642149424802655772008-10-11T13:30:00.000-06:002008-10-11T13:30:00.000-06:00What great deals!
